NEPSE index falls by 8.14 points
Out of the total listed companies traded on the day, share prices of 107 companies increased while 136 declined.

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index continued its downward trend on Wednesday, dropping by 8.14 points or 0.30 percent to close at 2,623.83 points.
This marks the third consecutive trading day of decline in the market, although the rate of decrease has slowed compared to the previous two sessions.
Out of the total listed companies traded on the day, share prices of 107 companies increased while 136 declined.
A total of 26,441,261 shares were exchanged in 79,777 transactions, amounting to a total turnover of Rs 9.37 billion.
This is a decrease from the previous day’s trading volume, which stood at Rs 7.57 billion.
Among the 13 sub-indices on the NEPSE, only Hydropower, Microfinance, Mutual Funds, and Trading sectors posted gains.
The rest recorded losses, contributing to the overall decline in the NEPSE index.
