Gold price drops by Rs. 700 per tola

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the local market has dropped by Rs. 700 per tola today, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
On Tuesday, gold was traded at Rs. 188,800 per tola, but it has now declined to Rs. 188,100 per tola.
The yellow metal continues to show volatility in the domestic market amid global economic trends.
Meanwhile, silver has also seen a slight decrease in price.
It is currently being traded at Rs. 1,965 per tola, down by Rs. 5 from Tuesday’s rate of Rs. 1,970 per tola.
In the international market, gold is being traded at around USD 3,310 per ounce, as reported by global financial media.
