Gold price drops by Rs 800 per tola

KATHMANDU: Gold prices in the Nepali market have dropped by Rs 800 per tola, setting back from a recent record high.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of Chhapawal gold is now being traded at Rs 189,800 per tola, down from Rs 190,600 per tola on Thursday.

The price of silver, however, remains unchanged.

It is being traded at Rs 1,960 per tola, the same as the previous trading day.

As of today, the price of gold per 10 grams stands at Rs 162,725, while silver is priced at Rs 1,680.50 per 10 grams.
