IPL 2025: Lucknow Super Giants vs Sunrisers Hyderabad today

KATHMANDU: The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 will feature an exciting clash between Lucknow Super Giants and Sunrisers Hyderabad today at the Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad.

Sunrisers Hyderabad, who won their opening match against Rajasthan Royals, will look to continue their winning run.

On the other hand, Lucknow Super Giants are eager to secure their first victory of the season after losing to Delhi Capitals in their opening game.

Lucknow’s defeat came due to poor bowling in the first match. Chasing a target of 210 runs, Delhi Capitals were at 113 for 6 when the match seemed to be in Lucknow’s favor.

However, their lackluster bowling performance allowed Delhi to seal the victory. Ravi Bishnoi and Shardul Thakur were the only bowlers with international experience, but Shardul bowled just two overs despite taking two wickets. Bishnoi conceded 53 runs while taking two wickets.

Hyderabad’s batting line-up fired on all cylinders, with all top six players maintaining a strike rate above 200, pushing the team close to breaking their own record for the highest IPL score.

Despite a high-scoring match, Hyderabad’s bowlers were somewhat expensive. All their pace bowlers, except for Harshal Patel, conceded more than 10 runs per over. Hyderabad will look to improve their bowling performance in this match.
