KATHMANDU: An online system has been introduced to simplify and streamline the justice process.

This system is designed to notify the offices of chief attorneys across all seven provinces about court hearings assigned by the Supreme Court.

It also allows district courts to take action on special types of complaints.

During the system’s launch, Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut emphasized the need for reform in the justice system, highlighting that technological improvements are crucial.

He stated, “The online system will make the justice system more reliable, trustworthy, and transparent.

It will also help eliminate irregularities and inconsistencies.” Chief Justice Raut further noted that digitalization in the justice sector is urgently needed.

The Supreme Court has been prioritizing the use of information technology to enhance the efficiency, smoothness, and effectiveness of judicial services, aiming to transform courts into paperless institutions.
