Nepse index rises by 12.68 points, closes at 2,740.59 points

KATHMANDU: The Nepse index surged by 12.68 points on Tuesday, continuing its upward trend after gains of 19.56 points on Sunday and 29.67 points on Monday.

The index closed at 2,740.59 points, marking a 0.46% increase.

Today, a total of 99,585 transactions were made, resulting in a trading volume of Rs 10.43 billion.

A total of 18,230,302 shares were bought and sold.

While six subgroups saw declines, seven subgroups experienced growth.

Sectors such as development banks, microfinance, and finance saw a decrease.
