Gold price drops on the first trading day of the week

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the Nepali market has declined on the first trading day of the week.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has dropped by Rs 2,700 per tola today (Sunday).

Today, fine gold is being traded at Rs 167,500 per tola, whereas it was priced at Rs 170,200 per tola on Friday.

Similarly, the price of silver has also decreased by Rs 15 per tola, trading at Rs 1,955 per tola today.

On Friday, silver was priced at Rs 1,970 per tola.
