IME Group launches luxury hotel ‘Ila Comfort’ in Baglung

KATHMANDU: Baglung now boasts a new luxury hospitality experience with the opening of Ila Comfort Hotel, an investment by IME Group.

The hotel is situated along the Kali Gandaki Corridor and Mid-Hill Highway and aims to provide premium services to tourists and visitors exploring Baglung and the Gandaki region.

Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey inaugurated the hotel in a grand ceremony on Saturday.

Speaking at the event, Minister Pandey highlighted the positive impact of IME Group’s investment in tourism infrastructure and emphasized the government’s commitment to promoting Nepal’s tourism sector for economic prosperity.

Strategically located just 1.5 hours from Pokhara Airport, the hotel benefits from regular public transport every 30 minutes between Pokhara and Baglung, ensuring convenient access for both domestic and international travelers.

Ila Comfort Baglung marks the first phase of the Ila brand’s expansion.

The company is also set to launch another Ila Hotel in Gaindakot, Nawalparasi, with plans to extend its presence across all seven provinces of Nepal.
