Chelsea wins over Wolves 3-1 in Premier League clash

KATHMANDU: Chelsea secured a convincing 3-1 victory over Wolves in Monday’s Premier League encounter.

Goals from Tosin Adarabioyo, Marc Cucurella, and Noni Madueke sealed the win, while Wolves’ Matt Doherty scored their lone goal.

Adarabioyo gave Chelsea the lead in the 24th minute, but Doherty equalized during first-half injury time.

In the second half, Cucurella restored Chelsea’s advantage with a 60th-minute strike, followed by Madueke’s decisive goal just five minutes later.

This victory propels Chelsea to fourth place in the league table with 40 points from 22 matches.

Liverpool leads the standings with 50 points from 21 games, followed by Arsenal and Nottingham Forest, both with 44 points from 22 matches.

Wolves sit 17th with 16 points.
