KATHMANDU: National Life Insurance Company Ltd. has provided training to its agents and marketing employees in Kolkata, India, through visiting faculty members from the Insurance Institute of India, College of Insurance, on various topics.

The training was held for agents and marketing staff who met the eligibility criteria set by the company to participate in the program.

The company successfully met its target by organizing this training for participants from across Nepal in Kolkata.

The training was chaired by Shree V.K. Nayak, Principal of the College of Insurance, and included various guest faculty members such as Shri J. Sen, Shri Mihir Goswami, and Shree Anirban Shah, who provided training on different topics.

In his inaugural speech, Principal V.K. Nayak extended a warm welcome to the participants. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the company for organizing this well-structured training program and bringing such a large number of agents from Nepal to India for this opportunity.

During the program, trainer Mihir Goswami conducted a session on innovative prospecting, emphasizing that adopting new approaches would lead to success in the insurance business.

He provided various examples to illustrate the importance of forward-thinking.

Trainer Anirban Shah presented on the business continuity cycle, explaining how agents can maintain strong relationships with clients by considering their interests, business, family situation, and income.

He emphasized that continuous engagement with clients post-sale could ensure the longevity and success of the business.

The training, led by Vivek Sharma, Head of the Marketing Department, and Sushil Pratap Rana, Head of the Agency Department, was attended by over 400 agents and marketing staff.

Certificates of completion were awarded by the Principal and trainers.

The participants expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to receive training from a prestigious institution like the Insurance Institute of India, recognizing it as a significant milestone in their careers.
