KATHMANDU: Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited (MBBL), adhering to its corporate social responsibility (CSR) policy, has been conducting various programs across education, health, disaster management, environmental conservation, cultural promotion, infrastructure development, sustainable development goals, and humanitarian services.

In line with this commitment, the bank, in coordination with the Karnali Province Tourism and Cultural Conservation Centre, Kalikot, provided scholarships to economically disadvantaged but academically deserving students from Karnali Province.

These students, who passed the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) from government schools in the province, aspire to pursue higher education, including +2 studies or diploma programs under CTEVT, in Kathmandu Valley.

The scholarships were handed over at a program organized at the bank’s central office.

This initiative aims to support students in overcoming financial barriers, fostering their aspirations for higher education and a brighter future.

The bank believes such efforts will significantly contribute to enabling students to achieve their academic goals and ensure no deserving individual is left behind due to financial constraints.
