Nepal Oil Corporation reduces petroleum prices

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products.

The corporation has decreased the prices of petrol, diesel, and kerosene.

According to the corporation, the price of petrol has been reduced by one rupee per liter, while the prices of diesel and kerosene have been lowered by two rupees per liter.

The prices of aviation fuel and LPG remain unchanged.

The revised prices are effective from today.

Under the new pricing structure, the price of petrol will be 170 rupees per liter in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal regions.

In Jhapa, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj regions, petrol will cost 167 rupees 50 paisa per liter, while in Surkhet and Dang regions, it will be priced at 169 rupees per liter.

For diesel and kerosene, the price per liter will be 155 rupees 50 paisa in the first category, 157 rupees in the second category, and 158 rupees in the third category.
