KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices have risen on the Nepalese market today.

Chhapawal gold, which sold at 141,200 rupees a tola on Friday, rose by 1,600 rupees today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders, the price of Chhapawal gold has risen to 142,800 rupees per tola, while Tejabi gold is purchased and sold for 142,100 rupees.

The price of silver has risen by Rs 20 per tola. On this day, silver is trading for 1820 rupees per tola.
