KATHMANDU: Asian Thai Foods Private Ltd. (ATF), a pioneering force in the Nepalese food industry, marks a historic milestone as the first Nepalese company to participate in FAB West Africa 2024, held in Lagos, Nigeria from June 11th to 13th, 2024.

With a rich legacy spanning 25 years, ATF has solidified its position as a leading manufacturer of noodles and snacks in Nepal.

Renowned for its popular brands such as 2pm, Rumpum, and Preeti, ATF has been instrumental in elevating the global perception of Nepalese culinary delights.

Participation in prestigious international exhibitions has been a cornerstone of ATF’s global outreach strategy. Having showcased its products in over 26 countries, ATF has left an indelible mark on events such as Gulf Food, Worldfood Istanbul, Worldfood India, and Aahaar India.

Notably, ATF’s presence in these exhibitions has been entirely self-funded, underscoring the company’s commitment to promoting Nepalese cuisine on the global stage.

ATF’s trailblazing spirit is evident in its introduction of premium category noodles to the Nepalese market, featuring flavors like Akabare, Korean Ramen, Kimchi, Napolitana, Mushroom, and Seafood. The recent launch of tantalizing snacks such as Cheese Balls, Fireballs, Lemon Mint Stix, Shrimp Cracker, Chicken Cracker, Fire Cracker, Punjabi Pakoda, Masala Munch, Akabare Stix, Potato Cracker, and Italian Pasta has further cemented ATF’;s reputation for innovation and excellence.

Despite governmental rhetoric emphasizing the prioritization of local production and exports, ATF has encountered minimal support from the authorities. Undeterred, ATF has forged ahead independently, championing the superior quality of Nepalese food products on a global scale.

“We are immensely proud to represent Nepal at FAB West Africa 2024,” said Mahesh Jaju, Managing Director at Asian Thai Foods Private Ltd. “Our participation underscores our unwavering commitment to showcasing the richness and diversity of Nepalese cuisine to the world. We are grateful for the opportunity to elevate the profile of Nepalese food products and contribute to the global culinary landscape.”

ATF’s groundbreaking participation in FAB West Africa 2024 marks a watershed moment for the Nepalese food industry, signaling its emergence onto the global stage with vigor and determination.
