State 1 govt requests rescheduling budget session for May 24

KATHMANDU: The Council of Ministers of State 1 has decided to once again request State Chief Parshuram Khapung to convene a budget session on May 24.

This decision was announced by the spokesperson of the State government and Law Minister Shamsher Rai during today’s Cabinet meeting.

Minister Rai disclosed that the decision to request State Chief Khapung to convene the budget session on May 24 has been made.

Earlier, Chief Minister Karki had recommended convening the State Assembly session on April 8.

As the opposition parties prepare to remove Chief Minister Karki, the government has decided to demand the convening of the budget session.
