JSP prepares for court battle amidst party division, press conference before that

KATHMANDU: Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) led by Upendra Yadav is preparing to go to court against the party division.

An official decision to go to the court against the party division is being prepared after a central executive meeting.

The party’s central office in Balkumari, Lalitpur, will publicly announce its stance on the party division after the meeting.

According to spokesperson Manish Suman, a press conference will be held to publicly announce the party’s stance on the division.

The press conference is scheduled to take place at the party’s central office in Balkumari, Lalitpur, at 11 a.m. in the morning.

Federal Council Chair Rai, along with seven MPs and 30 central members, will register a new party after splitting from the JSP on Sunday.

Yadav, who is also the Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister, went to participate in a program of the National Assembly.

When Rai announced the party division while Yadav was participating in the program, he is currently under pressure.
