Man held for raping a minor

KATHMANDU: Police on Saturday morning arrested 30-year-old Amrit Mangarati, a resident of Shadananda Municipality-1 Khowacha, Bhojpur, on the charge of raping a 7-year-old girl.

Based on a complaint that Mangarati had taken the girl to the bush in the same place on the afternoon of April 23, the police stationed at Kudakaule police station arrested him.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
