KATHMANDU: With pre-monsoon activity showing increased signs of activity, the likelihood of rain has risen starting today.

In some places, there may be brief showers.”

During the daytime, there is an expectation of changing conditions in some mountainous regions.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there’s a possibility of light rain with thunderstorms and lightning in some areas, including Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim States.

At night, partial changes are anticipated in the mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim States.

In some areas of these States, along with the presence of clouds and thunderstorms, there’s a likelihood of light rain.

Similarly, there’s a possibility of light snowfall in some high-altitude and Himalayan regions.
