KATHMANDU: Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’, the General Secretary of CPN Maoist, opted for a refreshing escape from the scorching heat by embarking on a rafting adventure along the Trishuli River.

Accompanied by his team, Biplav enjoyed a thrilling three-hour rafting journey from Benighat to Khatauti, as confirmed by Uddhav Kandel, the owner of Trishuli River Side Resort.

Notably, Biplav even indulged in cliff jumping along with paddle games during the rafting.

Expressing his enthusiasm for rafting, Kandel remarked that Biplav displayed great interest in the activity.

He shared that Biplav delighted in the experience, singing various songs while navigating the river’s currents.

Kandel further disclosed, “Local leaders, guided by Biplav, also joined the rafting excursion as part of their strategy to seek relief from the intense heat.” He added, “After the exhilarating rafting experience, they returned, thoroughly entertained and rejuvenated by the adventure.”
