50% vote turnout in Ilam-2 by-election

KATHMANDU: In the ongoing by-elections in Ilam Constituency-2, a 50 percent voter turnout has been recorded.

Chief Election Officer Keshav Prasad Ghimire provided information to Makalu Khabar, stating that by 3 PM, approximately 50% of the voting had occurred.

He further mentioned that the voting process in Ilam District, Constituency No. 2, has been conducted peacefully.

In addition to the by-election in Ilam-2, by-elections are also taking place in Bajhang 1 State Assembly Constituency 1 (A) on Saturday.
