65-year-old pedestrian dies in bike hit

KATHMANDU: A 65-year-old Ram Ratan Mandal, a pedestrian, died on Thursday evening on the road in Dhanusha, Bideha Municipality-7, Belapatti, due to a collision with a motorcycle bearing number M Pra 02-007 Pa 2943.

He was seriously injured in the collision and died during treatment at Sita Hospital, Janakpur.

Police are currently searching for the absconding motorcyclist.

The police are conducting further investigations into the accident.
