Earlier, the first leg between Real Madrid and Manchester City had ended in a 3-3 draw, with the second leg tied at 1-1 after extra time.

The first leg, played at Real Madrid’s home ground, saw a 3-3 draw with Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne equalizing in the second half.

De Bruyne scored in the 76th minute after Rodrigo had given Real Madrid the lead in the 12th minute.
