KATHMANDU: With effect from April 15th, Tara Manandhar, boasting over two decades of leadership in the banking sector, has stepped into the role of Chief Executive Officer at Dish Media Network.
Having demonstrated successful leadership stints at prominent institutions like Mashrek Bank, Prabhu Bank, and Standard Chartered Bank, Manandhar’s appointment is expected to fortify the management and elevate the quality of services offered by Dish Media Network.
Over the past 13 years, Dish Media Network Limited has carved a distinctive niche in the Pay TV industry.
Leveraging DishHome’s provision of top-notch services and diverse channels, the company has further solidified its position as Nepal’s second-largest internet service provider.
Notably, it obtained authorization from the Nepal Telecommunications Authority to distribute fiber internet just three years ago.
Currently, the company has already raised more investment from Private Equities Fund for expanding its infrastructure and some of them are in the final process, and in the next few months, the company is also making final preparations for the issuance of capital.
