PHC unanimously approves Toya Raj Aryal as Auditor General

KATHMANDU: The Parliamentary Hearing Committee (PHC) has unanimously approved the recommendation to appoint Toya Raj Aryal as the Auditor General.

Committee Chairperson Pashupati Shamsher JB Rana disclosed that Aryal’s nomination for the proposed Auditor General post received unanimous endorsement.

Aryal presented a 15-page work plan, expressing his commitment to carry out duties with utmost integrity and to minimize irregularities.

The decision to recommend Aryal for the Auditor General position was made during a meeting of the Constitutional Council held on March 31.
