KATHMANDU: The CPN (Unified Socialist) has added 120,000 new members as part of its organizational strengthening campaign.
Party Secretary Jeevan Ram Shrestha provided this information during a campaign centered around conducting nationwide operations for up to two months leading to the central campaign.
All levels of committees of the party were operationalized during the campaigns conducted in Falgun and Chaitra. Additionally, membership renewal for all participants in the central campaign was completed.
The party is also preparing for its 10th National Convention to be held in Kathmandu from May 16-20.
Various committees have been formed to ensure the success of the convention.
Secretary Shrestha highlighted that documents related to the party’s political agenda, constitution, socialist programs, and organizational documents have been sent for study to relevant committees.
