Nepal Idol S02 winner Ravi Oad faces marital rape allegations

KATHMANDU: A police complaint has been filed against singer Ravi Oad with allegations of marital rape.

Ravi’s wife registered a complaint of marital rape at the local police office, Jhalari.

Confirming the registration of the complaint on April 2, Kanchanpur Police Inspector Pushkar Panta stated that the allegation of marital rape against singer Oad had been officially documented.

According to him, legal proceedings are underway, and a warrant may be issued by the court following the complaint.

Ravi Oad, who rose to fame as a singer after winning the title of Nepal Idol Season 2, hails from Guleriya in Krishnapur Municipality of Kanchanpur district.
