KATHMANDU: The Federal Parliament is convening a meeting under the House of Representatives.

The meeting is scheduled to commence at 11 a.m. at the Parliament Building in Baneshwor.

According to the Parliament Secretariat, the Ministries of Forest and Environment, Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, as well as Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, will address relevant oral questions posed by the respective ministers in the anticipated agenda.

During the meeting, Speaker Devraj Ghimire will oversee the process of reviewing and approving members’ names for various thematic committees under the House of Representatives.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Narayan Kaji Shrestha will propose discussions and seek approval for the VIMSTEC charter’s provisions in the House.

Minister of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs, Padma Giri, is expected to present the potential agenda for the proposal of the 2080 Bill related to the formation of the National Assembly.
