‘National Horticulture Expo 2080’ kicks off at Bhrikuti Mandap (photos)
The National Horticulture Expo 2080 began today (Friday) with the theme 'Development and expansion of nursery business, revenue, and employment with a clean environment'.
KATHMANDU: National Horticulture Expo 2080 has begun at the exhibition hall at Bhrikuti Mandap.
The National Horticulture Expo 2080 began today (Friday) with the theme ‘Development and expansion of nursery business, revenue, and employment with a clean environment’.
Over 700 plant species from flower nurseries, fruit nurseries, agricultural forest nurseries, and herb nurseries across the country were on display and for sale at the expo.
There are also stalls selling fertilizers, organic and conventional insecticides, seeds, equipment, and procedures.
The fair features 88 exhibitors, including 74 commercial, 2 food, 7 official, and 5 competition stalls.
Entry fee for general public to visit the fair will be Rs.100 per person and for students and senior citizens Rs.50 per person.
The fair will be conducted from March 29 to April 1.
