Elderly man dies in cycle hit

KATHMANDU: A 71-year-old Juddha Bahadur Kunwar, a pedestrian, died on Thursday night after he was hit by a bicycle on the road in Banke, Raptisonari Rural Municipality-8, Ovari.

He was seriously injured in the collision and died during treatment at a nursing home in Nepalgunj.

The police have detained the cyclist.

The police are conducting necessary investigations regarding the accident.
