Dr. Arzu Rana undergoes surgery for hyperparathyroidism in New Delhi

KATHMANDU: Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, a prominent figure within the Nepali Congress and serving as the Chairperson of the Agriculture, Cooperative, and Natural Resources Committee, has undergone surgery for hyperparathyroidism.

According to her personal secretary, Kamal Rawal, the surgery took place at Max Hospital in Saket, New Delhi, India.

Dr. Deuba had traveled to India on March 15 for a follow-up visit.

She has been receiving medical treatment in New Delhi for the past two years due to health issues as advised by her physicians.

Mr. Rawal further informed that Dr. Deuba’s health condition is improving under medical care, and she will continue to receive treatment at the hospital for some time based on the doctor’s recommendations.
