Ilam-2 By-election: NC finalized the selection of seven candidates

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress regional committee has finalized the selection of seven candidates for the next House of Representatives by-election in Ilam-2, which is slated on April 27.
The Nepali Congress’s Ilam-2 regional working committee fully backed these seven candidates at a collaborative meeting attended by State representatives and Mahasamiti members.
According to Nepali Congress sources, the party has nominated Bhesraj Acharya, Dambar Bahadur Khadka, Keshav Thapa, Nagendra Kumal, Ramesh Lingden, Chandramaya Limbu, and Shantikala Rai Tamang as nominees.
The names of the nominated candidates, together with their recommendations, will be given to the provincial working committee by March 21.
The State will then forward the list of possible candidates to the central committee by March 23.
