Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank launches women entrepreneur empowerment scheme

KATHMANDU: Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank, in partnership with Alay Pvt. Ltd. & Ryan Energy Pvt. Ltd., has initiated a new endeavor aimed at enhancing financial access and promoting sustainable energy among women entrepreneurs.
As part of this collaboration, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank will provide financial support to female micro-entrepreneurs located in Banepa, Dhulikhel, and Kavrepalanchowk for the procurement of electrical transportation devices.
Additionally, Ryan Energy Pvt. Ltd. will supply safe and eco-friendly electric transportation solutions, along with necessary training, maintenance, and warranty services.
This collaboration signifies a dynamic partnership in Nepal’s green economy development, financial expertise enhancement, and technological innovation advancement, promoting gender equality.
Moreover, the agreement aims to empower women economically, foster community development, and promote environmentally friendly transportation adoption.
The initiative, launched on International Women’s Day, serves as a significant example of promoting gender equality and empowering women through creating opportunities and fostering women’s empowerment.
