KATHMANDU: A new record has been set in the price of gold in the Nepalese market.

The price of gold, which is constantly increasing, has reached its highest point today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders, the price of gold rose from Rs 123,500 per tola on Wednesday to Rs 125,000 per tola on Thursday, marking an increase of Rs 1,500.

The price of gold hit a record high of Rs 123,000 on Tuesday, and it continued to climb on both Wednesday and Thursday. Today, Tejabi gold tola was traded at Rs 124,400.

Meanwhile, the price of silver tola also saw an increase, reaching Rs 1,470 compared to Rs 1,440 per tola on Wednesday.
