KATHMANDU: Preparations for the upcoming national convention of the ruling party, Janata Samajwadi Party, Nepal, are underway, with the party’s central office convening a meeting on Friday.

During the meeting held at the party’s central office in Baluwatar, discussions were held regarding the national convention scheduled for Jestha 28, 29, and 30 (June 10, 11 & 12).

The participants reviewed the implementation of decisions made during the meetings of the political committee and the central committee.

Speaking on the matter, a party official stated, “Discussions are underway regarding the preparation for the historic national convention scheduled for Jestha 28, 29, and 30 (June 10, 11 & 12). Directives issued during the meetings of the political committee and the central committee held a month ago are being implemented, and various reports are being prepared for the convention.”

Additionally, discussions were held regarding the formation of various committees to prepare reports for the national convention.
