NOC increases petroleum product prices again

KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the price of petroleum products again.

The Corporation has decided to increase the price of petroleum products effective from today.

According to a notice issued by the Corporation on Friday, the price per liter of petrol, diesel, and kerosene has increased by two rupees each.

As per the report, the price of cooking LP gas and aviation fuel remains unchanged.

The Corporation has informed that a new price determination has been made according to the price list sent by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC).

On Friday, the IOC sent a new price list, raising the price of petrol by one rupee eighty-three paisa per liter and diesel by one rupee fifty-six paisa.

After increasing the price of fuel twice within a period of 15 days, consumers are compelled to bear the brunt of the price hike.

The Corporation has stated that a new price adjustment for fuel has been made according to the automated system.
