KATHMANDU: CPN (UML) Bagmati State Parliamentary Party Leader Jagannath Thapaliya has demanded to convene the State Assembly session as soon as possible.

UML leader Thapalia held a press conference at Bagmati State Parliamentary Party office in Hetauda and demanded to call a meeting with the government.

He expressed his suspicions about the government’s decision not to call the meeting. Leader Thapaliya claimed that the state administration is giving funds for initiatives that are not listed in the budget for a limited number of individuals and locations.

Leader Thapaliya stated in a press conference that if the government does not call the parliament session by the end of January, it will collect the signatures of 25% of the MPs and apply pressure to convene the meeting.

Leader Thapaliya has stated that if the government does not execute the opposition party’s ideas and agreements, it will take additional steps.
