Debut of Surya & Rijan, Nepal batting against Canada

KATHMANDU: The Nepali National Cricket Team is playing the first match of the ODI series against Canada.

After winning the toss Nepal’s cricket captain, Rohit Paudel decided to bat first in today’s match against Canada.

As Nepal takes to the pitch, they welcome debutants Rijan Dhakal and Surya Tamang to their ODI lineup.

Additionally, Pawan Sharraf makes a return to the ODI team and secures a spot in the playing XI.

The ODI series between Nepal and Canada spans three matches, with the first match set to take place at the TU Cricket Ground on Feb 8th.

Subsequent matches are scheduled for Feb 10th and Feb 12th, according to Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).
