2 dies in various road accidents in Morang

KATHMANDU: A 55-year-old Bisandu Mia, a native of Cooch Behar, India, working in a kiln, died on the spot on Saturday afternoon after being hit by a tractor in the Anand Brick Kiln located in Ranjani, Rangeli Municipality-3. Morang.

The police have detained the tractor driver.

Similarly, a 45-year-old woman, whose name, surname and nationality have not been disclosed, died on Saturday night after being hit by a pick-up State 3-01-024 Cha 7377 on the road in Morang, Kanepokhari Rural Municipality-7.

She was seriously injured in the collision and died during treatment at Madan Bhandari Hospital and Trauma Center Urlabari.

The pickup driver has been detained by the police.

The police are conducting necessary investigations regarding the incidents.
