Man dies in excavator hit in Okhaldhunga

KATHMANDU: An old man has died after being hit by an excavator in Okhaldhunga.

A 66-year-old Ek Bahadur Thapa Magar of Bhadaure Mugachhap, Chishankhugadhi Rural Municipality-6 of the district died due to the collision of the excavator.

Thapa Magar was critically injured when excavator number 03-01-003 K 7356 collided with another excavator while working on an internal unpaved road between Chishankhugadhi Rural Municipality 6 Bhadaure to Siddicharan Municipality 2 Chuhan Chap.

Police Inspector Balister Singh of the District Police Office Okhaldhunga reported that the Magar died on the route to the hospital for treatment.

The police said that further investigation is going on regarding the incident.
