KATHMANDU: Nepal Student Association (NSU) is set to hold the ‘Bishwakarma Battle of Titans-2’ international level Robotic War (Chadaya-Dhwach) tournament on Magh 13, 14, and 15 (Jan 27, 28 & 29).

NSU announced this during a news conference in Kathmandu on Wednesday.

According to reports, the competition would take place in Kathmandu’s Dasharath Stadium.

According to Nepal’s Constitution, the competition will be arranged with the goal of engaging students with research, production, and innovation through policies and programs relevant to today’s technologically savvy society.

Speaking at the press conference, Dujang Sherpa, Chair of the Indian Federation, said that 18 groups mainly from Nepal, India, Bangladesh and Pakistan will compete in the competition.

He stated that the association will also offer food and lodging for the visitors who attended the three-day session.

In this competition, the first group will receive 3.5 lakhs, the second place will receive 1.5 lakhs, and the winners in other categories will receive 1 lakh each.

Chair Sherpa stated that the total prize money for the tournament has been set at Rs. 6 lakh. He stated that the overall projected cost of the tournament is 30 lakhs.

Chair Sherpa stated that the competition will encourage the younger generation to be creative.
