KATHMANDU: The Janamat Party, led by CK Raut, quit the Madhesh State Government.

The Janmaat Party opted to leave the government and withdraw its support for Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav.

Chandan Singh, the head of the Janamat Party, announced that the ministers had resigned from their positions following the withdrawal of government backing.

According to reports, the Janmatat departed the government due to a disagreement with the ruling party, the JSP. Janamat was represented in the Madhesh cabinet by two ministers and one minister of state.

Janamat’s Madhesh State has 13 MPs.
