Women fell into the well of Imadol rescued

KATHMANDU: A woman who fell into a well at Imadol in Lalitpur has been rescued.

Newton Pradhan, 28, was rescued on Monday morning from a home well near Imadol Krishna Mandir, according to DSP Umesh Joshi of Satdobato police circle.

The rescued Pradhan has been sent to Patan Hospital for treatment.

Newton Pradhan, residing as a tenant in Imadol with a residence in Dolakha, reportedly fell into the well when the slab broke while she was attempting to wash and dry her clothes.

It is said that her leg was hurt.
