KATHMANDU: A meeting was held between former king Gyanendra Shah and top leaders of RPP in Bhairahawa.

RPP leaders reached Bhairahawa on Tuesday after the former king sent a message that he wanted to meet.

The meeting on Wednesday was attended by Chair Rajendra Lingden, senior Vice Chair Rabindra Mishra, Vice Chair Buddhiman Tamang, General Minister Dhawal Shamsher Rana, and MP Deepak Singh.

The previous monarch stated at the meeting that all Nepalis are equal to me.

Mishra, the RPP’s senior vice chair, stated on social media that he is representing the historical organization and attempting to unite everyone in a formula of unity.

He wrote on Facebook –

“We all have seen/understood a lot.
I represent a historical institution.
My work is to bind everyone in the formula of unity.
All Nepalis are equal to me.”
