Fire engulfs home in Dang: losses estimated 550,000, investigation underway

KATHMANDU: A fire broke out on Saturday evening at the residence of 60-year-old Ramesh Raj Bhandari in Bhingreli Chok, Ward-15 of Dang Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City, Dang, resulting in the destruction of the house and a loss of approximately 550,000.

Local authorities and the fire department, with support from residents, swiftly took control of the blaze.

The police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
