Western wind influence: Clear skies in some mountainous areas, partial cloudiness in rest of Nepal

KATHMANDU: The Department of Water and Meteorology has reported the current influence of the western wind in Nepal.

Presently, Lumbini State and some mountainous regions are experiencing clear weather, while the rest of the country is characterized by partly cloudy conditions.

Additionally, fog and mist are observed in certain areas of the Terai State.

In the afternoon, the forecast indicates generally clear weather in the Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini State, with the remaining areas expected to be partly cloudy.

There is a potential for light snowfall in specific high hill and Himalayan State of the Gandaki State.

Nighttime conditions will feature clear skies in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini States.

The department urges everyone to take necessary precautions against the impacts of snowfall and dropping temperatures nationwide.
