Bus accident in Tanahun injures 18 passengers (with name)

KATHMANDU: A tragic accident occurred in Kamalbari, Byas Municipality-12 of Tanahun when a bus traveling from Muglin to Pokhara met with an accident, resulting in injuries to 18 passengers.
The accident involving bus number Ga 2 Kha 1459, in the process of overtaking, the tripper truck, resulted in injuries to the passengers.
Ten-year-old Ashima Sahi from Sajabote in Ward No. 1 of Byas Municipality, twenty-one-year-old Sabita Sunar, and nineteen-year-old Sabina Sunar from Ward No. 3 of Bhanu Municipality, thirty-year-old Pradeep Godar from Ward No. 2 of Morang Katari Municipality, and forty-year-old Suren Rai from Hillkarka Ward No. 9 of Bhojpur Tyamkemaiyung Rural Municipality are reported injured.
Additionally, forty-year-old Sumitra Rai from Ward No. 5 of Aanbu Khairani Rural Municipality, thirty-six-year-old Deepa Thapa from Ward No. 2 of Byas Municipality, forty-year-old Purnimaya Bhattarai, and twenty-one-year-old Anjali Bhattarai from Ward No. 11 of Mulpani, and eight-year-old Purnima Bhattarai are also among the injured.
Ten injured individuals are undergoing treatment at Damauli Hospital, while eight are receiving medical treatment at Pokhara Manipal Teaching Hospital.
The police have confirmed the status of the injured individuals.
