KATHMANDU: The meeting of the central committee of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RPP) is starting today in Kathmandu.

Mohan Kumar Shrestha informed that the meeting will begin in the morning at the SR Banquet in the capital’s Dhumbarahi.

According to him, the agenda of the meeting, which will last until Poush 3 (Dec 19), is for party president Rajendra Lingden to review the current political situation, give a ‘briefing’ on the party’s strategy and future course of action, and present the secretariat and treasurer’s reports.

According to Shrestha, spokesperson and head of the publicity department, there will be a review and group discussion of the geography-focused program, which the party will conduct in the near future, and the motion related to the movement passed and approved by the Central Performance Committee meeting will also be submitted for discussion during the three-day meeting.
