Scooter-car collision: 2 dentistry students dies

KATHMANDU: Two female students studying at GMC College in Pokhara have died in a car accident.

A fourth-year BBS (Bachelor in Dental Surgeon) student was killed after his motorbike collided with a car on the route of Sundar Bazar in Pokhara-26.

According to the Kaski Police, the deceased are Anisha Khadka, 23, of Pokhara Metropolitan City-25 Hemja, and Bhawana Baral, 24, of Pokhara-5.

A automobile marked BAA 0041 traveling from Pokhara to Talchok collided with a scooter numbered Ga 13 Pa 3578 coming from the other way at 4:15 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

Both injured kids died while receiving treatment.

Their bodies are currently kept at the Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences (Western Regional Hospital), police said.

Man Bahadur Baniya, the Argha resident of Pokhara, the driver of the car, has been detained by the police.
