Woman stabbed to death in Itahari

KATHMANDU: A 50-year-old Bhumi Kumari Chaudhary, a resident of Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-12, Khanar died on Sunday afternoon due to stab wounds.

The woman was stabbed in the womb.

On receiving the news that 23-year-old Ganesh Chaudhary, of the same place, was seriously injured when he was stabbed, the police sent him to Birat Teaching Hospital, Biratnagar, where he died during treatment.

Ganesh Chaudhary, 25, has been identified as the stabber.

Currently, the police are conducting further investigations in this regard.
