Today vegetable & fruit prices (with list)

KATHMANDU: Indian tomatoes are currently priced 30 rupees more than Nepali tomatoes in the Nepali market.

The Kalimati Fruit and Vegetable Market Development Committee set the minimum price of Nepali big tomatoes at 60 rupees per kg on Saturday, while the price of Indian big tomatoes was set at 90 rupees per kg.

Local tomatoes are priced between 12 and 18 rupees per kilogram.

Similarly, red potato has a minimum price of 45 rupees per kg and a maximum price of 48 rupees per kg.

The minimum price of local Cabbage is Rs 30 per kg, Cauliflower Rs 20, Red Radish Rs 20, Peas Rs 90, Okra Rs 80, Pidalu Rs 50, Mustard Rs 25, Green Onion Rs 70, Mushroom Rs 300, Red Cabbage Rs 150, Mint 200 rupees.
